Our chicken processing class is perfect for those starting their own farm or homestead, people interested in how their food gets on their plate, or DIY’ers that wants to know a little bit about everthing. We will cover the following topics in this class: equipment needed, tools used, dispatching, scalding, plucking, eviscerating, chilling, and packaging.
Class price includes a whole, GMO-free, pastured chicken that you process, and take home notes.
Class will be held Saturday, September 19, at Our Local Farm. We will begin at 8am sharp and finish at 12noon.
Space is EXTREMELY limited.
You must bring your own cooler to insure your chicken is cooled properly.
